Update Your Kitchen for Less than $100 | Adding Affordable Cabinet Hardware

Cabinet hardware is an easy way to elevate the look of your kitchen. It can also be super affordable (like under $100 cheap)! But it’s often a project my friends and family put on the back-burner for months or even years.

First, I recommend going to Amazon or Etsy to look for hardware. Side note- I hardly recommend Amazon for anything, but in this case, it’s the most affordable and I’ve had great experiences with a few brands that only sell on Amazon. Etsy is a great place to find unique or vintage hardware, but ship times can be lengthy.

I also recommend investing in a Liberty Align Right cabinet hardware template from The Home Depot. It will save you HOURS and will only set you back $10.

Also make sure you have a Ryobi drill and drill bits.

My last recommendation is to mix a knob and a pull.

Funny story time-- Last week I saw a TikToker make her own hardware out of wood, then spray paint it, then measure out with a ruler where she wanted the hardware to go on each cabinet. She said she saved $200 and it only took her “a few hours” in comparison to buying it from the hardware store. While it was very creative solution, I HIGHLY recommend not doing that and using our recommendations to add or replace your hardware for less than $100. It will save you time and money in the long run.
