Client Spotlight | Using a Realtor to Find a Rental

Updated: Jul 2, 2020

Many people don't know this, but you can use a Realtor to find a rental. Best part, IT'S FREE TO YOU! It also takes the stress out of finding a new spot that you will love.

Here's a few benefits to working with a Realtor to find your next rental:

  • Can help with contract negotiations

  • Can help see unoccupied properties sooner, if the property has a lock box

  • Can set up automatic emails to send new properties to you based on your criteria

  • Can visit the property for you, if you are moving from out of town

Frank recently helped Cara and Frankie find their dream rental home in South Austin. Now that they were working from home, they knew they wanted a 3 bedroom house, a functional backyard for their four-legged baby and a big kitchen for whipping up delish gluten-free recipes! After a few weeks of searching during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cara and Frankie found a place they wanted to call home! Here's a quick testimonial about their experience working with Frank:

"My partner and I used Frank as our Realtor when we decided we were ready for a rental home after years of apartment living. He sent us weekly curated listings within our price range and area, and was able to show us the homes we were interested in quickly upon request. We didn't know a lot about what to look out for in a rental home, so we were thankful that Frank was able to discern any red flags during walkthroughs (pest control issues, structural concerns, etc.) that we may not have noticed otherwise. Frank acted as a liaison between us and the property manager throughout the application and contract process, and looked everything over to make sure we got the best deal! I would also like to add that our apartment lease was up mid-pandemic lockdown, and despite how difficult it was to look for a home at that time, Frank was able to show us home safely!" - Cara D.

Now they are all moved in and can't wait to host a house warming party!
